  7. The SFS interactive reporting system consists of more than 20 integrated
  8. software modules, ported to UNIX from a mainframe environment in 1986

  10. The system maintains groupings of clients or subsidiary companies; clients can
  11. consist of up to one million profit centers, each with their own accounts. The
  12. system handles intercompany accounting and accounting for interstore transfers.
  13. Transactions can be automatically generated for allocations, prorations, and
  14. accurals

  16. Daily, weekly, monthly, or user-defined periodic reporting, as well as 10-year
  17. history trend analysis, are available from current year, prior year, and budget
  18. databases. Interfaces are available to external spreadsheet programs, to
  19. relational databases, and to POS systems. Financial reports can be completely
  20. and easily customized with the SFS Report Writer module
